Guided by a professional aromatherapist and herbalist, you’ll explore a number of aromatic herbs in a tour of the Whatley botanical garden, explore essential and their benefits, both physical and emotional, make two products to take away, as well as enjoying a two-course lunch
Order of the day
- Arrive for coffee at 9am 
- Start the morning with a tour of the Whatley Gardens in search of natural healing remedies. 
- Co-create a herbal tea blend 
- Create your own bespoke Bath Salts & Pillow Spray using natural ingredients. All materials are supplied, you take your creations home with you along with an apothecary gift bag. 
- The workshop concludes with a 2-course lunch in Grey’s. 
During the workshop you will:
- Learn about aromatherapy & herbalism, focusing on key benefits of a range of easy-to-grow / access herbs and some key essential oils 
- Learn the basics of aromatherapy history, blending science and phytochemistry 
- Sample a range of base oils, essential oils and herbs and learn about their therapeutic properties 
- Learn some aromatherapy and mindfulness techniques to bring into your daily life and help your wellbeing
