But living with neurodivergence, or ongoing physical and mental health conditions can be exhausting. I know this because I have lived experience of both.

I offer a calm, non-judgemental space to explore what’s going on in your body and mind, and create a herbal, nutritional and lifestyle support plan that works with you, not against you.

Together, we’ll use the power of plants to help regulate your nervous system, support focus, balance energy, address hormonal, gut or other health issues, and ease emotional overwhelm, in a way that feels safe and sustainable.

Working with me

  • I work online and in person in Easton and Old Market, Bristol

  • I support people who are neurodivergent and may be living with other mental or physical health conditions - but I welcome everyone.

  • I prescribe herbal tinctures, teas, powders and capsules to support you

  • We’ll work with remedies that nurture your nervous system, steady your mood, and help you feel more grounded in daily life, as well as addressing other health issues and ongoing illnesses.

  • You’ll receive realistic, personalised nutrition and supplementation guidance that honours your sensory needs, energy patterns, and how your life works.

  • We’ll check-in regularly and make gentle adjustments where needed.

  • I offer consistency, flexibility, and understanding needed to make real, lasting shifts, without pressure or judgement.

  • Once we’re working together, you can order repeat prescriptions and products.

I offer a 30 minute consultation + herbal medicine mini package for just £45.00.

This option is suitable if you want a quicker consultation for a targeted or specific health conditions (e.g. colds and flu, skincare, or wound care).

Or, if you want to try herbal medicine and working with me before committing to a longer-term package.

During the consultation, we’ll explore together what you need help with right now - and whether you might benefit from longer term support.

How I work with you

Whilst I offer a mini-consultation so you can try herbal medicine and see what works for you, I’ve found working longer term, rather than via one-off consultations means better results for my patients.

This means that usually, we’ll initially work together in blocks of 3 months (4 appointments, 4 months of medicines) reviewing how you’re doing and adjusting your treatment plan monthly.

  • We’ll have an initial 90 minute consultation

  • I’ll ask you some questions to get a full understanding of you, your specific needs and health goals

  • We’ll develop a treatment plan which can include herbs, nutrition, skincare products, lifestyle advice

  • You’ll get out-of-hours support directly from me on WhatsApp or SMS.

  • We’ll book you in for three more follow up sessions over the next three months so we can review what’s working well, and what we need to adjust

  • You can then continue to book follow ups with me in quarterly blocks, spreading payments monthly, or you can simply order repeat medications and move to ad-hoc follow ups, as you need them.

  • Low-cost and split payment plan options are available, please contact me before booking.

Patients can book one-off follow up appointments if needed, but this option doesn’t include all herbal medicines, which will be charged separately, so I do recommend booking a 3-month block of sessions as it generally works out better value.

The small print

All treatments are delivered by Ellen Rowland, a professional, qualified and insured Medical Herbalist and Aromatherapist accredited by the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (NIMH).

Treatment Terms and Conditions & Cancellation Policy
All treatments are subject to a card confirmation to secure the booking. All treatments are subject to a 48hr cancellation policy. Card details are collected on booking and any treatment booking cancelled within 48hrs will be charged at 50%. No shows will be charged at 100% of the total cost.

Low-cost options
As a social enterprise, AmberLuna Apothecary is pleased to offer a number of low-cost treatments to those on low incomes or with long-term health conditions which mean they are unable to earn an income. In order to be able to continue to offer this, we rely on the support of our clients. We will always strive to ensure that as many people as possible can access our services. Please enquire about low-cost places via the contact form.

Repeat products are only for patients who have previously had a consultation or treatment with us.
